Carahsoft to Host Symantec Technology Summit

Carahsoft Technology Corp. will host the Symantec Government Technology Summit March 20 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Va, Carahsoft announced.

Joel Brenner, former inspector general of the National Security Agency, will deliver the luncheon address on countering digital espionage, crime, and warfare.

Brenner also lead counterintelligence for the director of national intelligence.

Gigi Schumm, Symantec’s vice president and general manager of the public sector, will give the conference’s opening address.

Discussion topics at the conference will include

  • Consumerization of information technology
  • Cyber threat landscape
  • Data openness
  • Government transparency
  • Virtualization

The event will also feature hands-on labs and interactive sessions regarding Symantec‘s management and security offerings.
