Former DOJ PC Crime Chief Michael DuBose to Lead Kroll Cyber Practice - top government contractors - best government contracting eventAltegrity‘s Kroll subsidiary appointed former Justice Department computer crime and intellectual property section chief Michael DuBose as cyber investigations practice leader and managing director.

Kroll said DuBose will oversee the practice within the subsidiary’s business intelligence and investigations group.

Robert Brenner, Kroll’s vice president of business intelligence and investigations in the Americas, said DuBose brings experience in leading investigations into cyber crime and protecting intellectual property.

Brenner said these are two of Kroll’s growth areas.

At DOJ, DuBose supervised 40 federal prosecutors and managed large investigations and prosecutions involving computer network intrusions, international phishing schemes, botnets, hacktivist groups, copyright piracy, trade secret thefts and large-scale data breaches.

DuBose was previously was senior counsel for enforcement at the Treasury Department and also served for more than seven years as an assistant U.S. attorney in Maine.
