KBR has been contracted to provide construction services to expand an Oklahoma-based gas processing plant, KBR announced Wednesday.
KBR will also provide installation and pre-construction services for a new 150 million standard cubic feet per day gas processing plant under the contract.
KBR will expand the plant by 150 MMSCFD and will bring the total processing capacity to 350 MMSCFD in the Woodford Shale, a natural gas field in Oklahoma.
David Zimmerman, KBR’s services group president, said shale gas is expanding in the U.S. provides KBR with opportunities for additional projects.
