Raytheon to Participate in National Engineers Week

Raytheon will participate in National Engineers Week from Feb. 19 to Feb. 25, Raytheon announced Friday.

National Engineers Week originated in 1951 and contains more than 100 professional societies, major corporations and government agencies.

National Engineers Week promotes pre-college literacy in math and science and encourages students to pursue engineering and technology.

Students will have opportunities to interact with experts working in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields.

Raytheon said employee volunteers will attend more than 45 events around the U.S.

The events offer peer mentoring and tutoring programs and hands-on math and science activities.
