The Chicago, Ill.-based company said Cornet will work out of Paris and lead a team of 90 compensation consultants.
Cornet will help organizations track their performance and rewards via employee ownership plans, compensation surveys and benchmarks, and base pay and variable policies.
Aon also said Cornett will help companies target compensation strategies and programs for personnel.
Prior to joining Aon, Cornett worked for the French consulting firm Altedia as a senior partner and deputy manager of global compensation and human resource services.
Cornett also worked as managing director of Ooshop.com, HR director of Promodes Group and director of Executive Career Management for Carrefour.
In mid-December, Aon appointed Cecelia Evans as the companies federal sector practice leader to manage retirement, health and benefits and human capital within the federal sector.
