Two universities and 14 companies received the honor during an award ceremony at Chicago’s Field Museum.
James Garceau, BAE vice president and deputy general manager of communications and control solutions, said the companies have worked together for at least six decades.
They delivered weapon control for the F-4 aircraft and avionics and control subsystems for Boeing-built commercial and military aircraft.
Boeing’s global network has more than 28,000 suppliers and more than 1.2 million employees.
Boeing recently selected BAE to provide the touch-screen interior control panel for the Air Force‘s new KC-46A refueling and strategic transport aircraft.
