An association representing many veteran-owned small businesses has named DynCorp International as one of the top ten corporations supporting and partnering with those businesses.
The National Veteran-Owned Business Association said the company is on the list for the sixth straight year.
DynCorp Chairman and CEO Steve Gaffney said veterans help the company carry out its defense, diplomacy and development initiatives as employees, partners and suppliers.
The association said veterans make up for 65 percent of the company’s workforce.
Companies on the list are featured in the cover story of the April edition of Vetrepreneur, the association’s magazine.
The association selects companies it deems as the most successful in employing veteran-owned businesses as suppliers.
More than 60 percent of companies on the Fortune 1000 list use veteran-owned suppliers, the association said.
