GTRI Adds Blue Ridge Security Software to Govt Sector Portfolio - top government contractors - best government contracting eventGlobal Technology Resources Inc. will sell security software from Blue Ridge Networks to customers in the government and commercial sectors.

The Denver-based federal information technology consulting firm will offer BorderGuard, EdgeGuard and AppGuard as part of its cybersecurity portfolio.

CEO Greg Byles said the companies will both present at the upcoming National Space Symposium and Cyber 1.2 event in Colorado Springs.

He said Blue Ridge’s products underwent testing through the Defense Department’s Joint Interoperability Test Command and the National Security Agency’s SPOCK program.

He added the products also comply with federal standards such as PCI, HIPAA, FIPS and Common Criteria.

In January, GTRI won a position on a potential $5.6 billion government-wide contract to provide IT products.

NASA awarded the Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement vehicle, intended to let agencies search the Web for IT products.
