Bill Deckelman, CSC

Bill Deckelman is vice president and general counsel at Computer Sciences Corp., where is responsible for the company’s global legal, contracts and compliance organizations.

The company’s legal department includes 110 attorneys located in the U.S. and 16 other countries and the contracts organization includes over 400 global contract professionals.

He joined the company in 2008 after serving as general counsel at Affiliated Computer Services Inc. in Dallas, which is now a subsidiary of Xerox. Throughout his career, he has practiced both as outside and in-house counsel and specializes in corporate, securities and information technology law.

He received his juris doctorate with honors from the University of Arkansas’ law school, where he was a member of the Arkansas Law Review. He is currently enrolled in a master of laws program in international business and economic law at Georgetown University’s law center in Washington.
