Michael Thomas serves as a senior vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he supports the consulting and contract firm’s security initiatives.
According to the company, he which he joined in 2010, his areas of expertise include systems development and technology and he has worked with the intelligence community.
Before joining Booz Allen, he served as president of Lockheed Martin‘s security line within the information systems and global solutions organization, where he directed day-to-day business operations such contract performance, strategy development, financial and human resources. He also provided intelligence mission management for national and tactical decision making.
Thomas also served vice president of special application programs within Lockheed’s mission systems unit. The company says he led the redirection of the business into imagery and geospatial programs and expanded the business into the federal, commercial and international markets.
Prior to joining Lockheed, he spent several years at IBM, where he served as White House account manager and business area manager for new and advanced programs.
Thomas is a board member on both the Intelligence & National Security Alliance and the U.S. Geospatial Intelligence Foundation and is also a member of the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association and National Military Intelligence Association.
He earned his M.B.A. from James Madison University and his bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from Madison College.
