Aditya Chatterjee is the chief technology officer at Spacenet, where he has managed engineering and product development initiatives.
The 14-year company veteran has used both research and development and custom solutions perspectives, according to Spacenet. He authored a number of patents related to legacy protocol spoofing, transmission control protocol acceleration and Internet page acceleration. His experience includes satellite radio frequency management, protocol conversion and Internet Protocol-based application performance. The company credits him with many “firsts” in the deployment of very-small-aperture terminal technology.
Prior to joining Spacenet, he served in engineering positions at Comsat Labs. He also holds a master’s degree from Virginia Tech, as well as a B.Tech in electronics and communications engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.
McLean, Va.-based Spacenet designs, implements and manages communications networks for government and commercial customers.
