SAIC Inc. has won a potential $37 million task order to provide program management and support operations for the Department of Veterans Affairs’ benefits system, the company announced Thursday.
The order includes one base year and an additional option year under the Army’s Information Technology Enterprise Solutions 2 Services contract.
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic in Charleston, S.C. awarded the order.
The McLean, Va.-based engineering and contracting firm will develop applications for the VA’s office of information and technology to help the office disperse benefits.
The company will also help design and deploy IT and information management initiatives within the VA.
Earlier this week, ASM Research won a task order to provide the VA with information technology services under the department’s twenty-one total technology program.
The company is a prime awardee on the VA’s $12 billion T4 contract.
