Carahsoft Technology Corp. is adding an industry partner’s cloud-based data storage and software to its General Services Administration schedule, Carahsoft announced Monday.
Cleversafe Inc. will provide the storage and software to help agencies address challenges presented by big data, said CEO Chris Gladwin.
The software is also intended to help agencies meet data storage policies and initiatives for cloud storage, data center consolidation, security and multi-site disaster recovery, the companies said.
Cleversafe’s dsNet software distributes data in sections to separate disks, storage nodes and across geographic locations.
In mid-April, Carahsoft announced that it formed a cybersecurity partnership with Silvertail Systems to help government agencies combat external attacks, insider threats and stop fraud in real-time.
