General Dynamics“™ advanced information systems unit has won a $14 million task order to provide the Department of Homeland Security with communications infrastructure support.
The company said it will provide emergency response support to partners and identify outages for the National Communications System“™s National Coordinating Center for Communications.
John Jolly, vice president and general manager of the unit’s cyber division, said the country is increasingly relying on communications assets and wireless infrastructure, highlighting the center’s role in coordinating and supporting analysis.
The company will also help DHS coordinate restoration and repair of infrastructure ahead of outages.
