Former Homeland Security Department assistant secretary for cybersecurity Greg Garcia has formed a new cyber business development advisory firm called Garcia Cyber Partners.
GCP said Tuesday it will target government cyber contracts for banking cloud security and big data solutions.
Garcia added the firm will also focus on identity management and fraud solutions.
Prior to the GCP’s formtion, Garcia was the first presidentially appointed assistant secretary for cyber security and communications at the DHS.
He was also a cybersecurity and identity management Partnership Executive at Bank of America and spent time as a staffer in the House of Representatives.
