SRA Receives Military Times ‘Best for Vets’ Award; John Reing Comments

SRA International Inc. announced Wednesday it was included on Military Times EDGE magazine’s “Best for Vets“ 2012 employer list.

The award recognizes companies that demonstrate outstanding support for U.S. veterans and their families.

Military Times listed 40 companies and scaled them based on their recruiting and hiring policies, social recognition and pay and benefits for veterans.

More than a quarter of SRA’s employees are veterans, said John Reing, senior vice president of human resources.

Verizon also has announced it was included under the list.

The integration contract under the Three Dimensional Expeditionary Long-Range Radar development program has options for the company to manufacture up to 35 systems, the military service said Wednesday.
