Carahsoft Adds Datameer Big Data Analytics To GSA Schedule; Michael Shrader Comments

Carahsoft Technology Corp. will distribute Datameer‘s big data analytics platform to federal agencies on Carahsoft’s General Services Administration schedule, the companies announced Thursday.

Carahsoft’s portfolio of big data technology providers is growing, said Michael Shrader, vice president of innovative and intelligence solutions.

The company has recently added collaboration tools from Actiance and database and cybersecurity applications from Application Security Inc. to its GSA schedule.

Datameer uses Big Data Analytics for Hadoop to integrate, analyze and visualize structured and unstructured data in a spreadsheet-like user interface.

Agencies require quick data analysis to fulfill missions in cybersecurity and government operations, said Datameer CEO Stefan Groschupf.
