DRS Adds Environmental Control Tech To GSA Schedule - top government contractors - best government contracting eventDRS Technologies‘ environmental systems division has established a process for agencies to purchase environmental control units on a General Services Administration contract schedule.

The company said Tuesday it will place the air quality and temperature control units on GSA Schedule 56 and plans to add more units to the schedule in the future.

Army and Navy field hospitals use the 60K Lightweight ECU and the Air Force uses it with its expeditionary medical support program.

An Army project management office uses the 60K Improved ECU for mobile electric power, the company said.

DRS also added options for flight line ground support equipment to the schedule, including a mobile heater for areas containing jet fuel and expansion kits for a flight line air conditioner.
