Noblis Inc. has won a contract from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to provide systems engineering and analysis services for new and upgraded satellite ground systems.

The organization received the three-year, $38 million contract as a blanket purchase agreement in March 2012 to support the agency’s national environmental satellite, data and information service.

Pat Brosey, vice president of business development and marketing, said the Falls Church, Va.-based nonprofit research organization has worked with NOAA for nearly three decades.

NESDIS acquires and manages the country’s operational environmental satellites, manages data sensors and provides earth system monitoring and information systems.

Work will occur during all procurement process phases and include support for the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite““R Series and the Joint Polar Satellite System.
