An independent market research firm has named Mission Essential Personnel the highest-earning firm out of 100 translation and interpreting providers for the second straight year, MEP announced Tuesday.
According to Common Sense Advisory’s survey, the company's 2011 revenue reached $725.5 million.
In the release, President Marc Peltier credited the company's growth in the market to MEP's linguists and support staff.
The company provides training and technical services and intelligence support to the U.S. Defense Department and other intelligence agencies and international development organizations.
MEP has offices in Chantilly, Va., and Columbus, Ohio, and over 8,000 translators, cultural advisors and interpreters in 13 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
