Serco Receives Info Service Management Certification

Serco Inc. has received ISO/IEC 20000 certification for delivering information technology management services, the company announced Tuesday.

ISO/IEC is registered by SRI Quality System Registar and is viewed as an international standard for information service management, the company said.

According to Serco, the certification measures a company’s ability to provide information technology service management processes.

The company said it had to demonstrate standards in service delivery, relationships, resolution and control.

SAIC’s defense solutions group recently earned two ISO/IEC certifications, one for standardization and the other for information security.
