CACI International will help run the National Institutes of Health‘s Oracle e-Business programs as a prime contractor, the company announced Thursday.
The company’s award for software operations and maintenance support services has one base year, four option years and two award years.
President and CEO Dan Allen said in a release the company is continuing to pursue growth in the business systems market segment, adding many agencies work with CACI to implement business systems.
This award is one of several federal awards the company has won to help run Oracle software, added John Mengucci, chief operating officer and president of U.S. operations.
The company will help NIH operate financial, acquisition and logistics management systems and help the agency meet regulatory and mandated requirements for federal financial management.
Work will also include:

- operations and service desk support
The company is also helping the Justice Department modernize its information technology infrastructure through a potential $1.1 billion contract vehicle.
