He will report to President and CEO Mike Lawrie and be responsible for the overall strategy and execution of commercial-focused consulting, systems integration, application services and software Internet Protocol pursuits.
Hogan’s appointment is part of the company’s turnaround strategy, Lawrie said in a release.
Hogan, a former Hewlett-Packard senior executive will also lead the company’s geographies and oversee delivery through regional and local accounts.
He will also be responsible for creating an integrated consulting, applications, software and software testing business that develops branded solutions using industry-specific IP and technology from CSC’s industry partners.
Between 2006 and 2011, he held several senior executive positions at HP and most recently served as as executive vice president of sales and marketing.
Prior to HP, Hogan served as CEO of Vignette, an enterprise content management software provider.
