Computer Sciences Corp. will continue to provide supercomputing support service for NASA’s Ames Research Center in California.
Under the $60.3 million deal, the Falls Church, Va.-based firm will provide support for supercomputing services of the Advanced Supercomputing Division at the Moffett Field, Ca. NASA facility.
NASA initially awarded Computer Sciences Corp in 2007 with two-year base period plus eight one-year priced options.
NASA’s Ames Research Center serves as the agency’s supercomputing pathfinder and the developer and operator of advanced supercomputers in the world.
