FedBid, a reverse auction host company, has appointed Bobby Feigler chief marketplace officer, Federal Computer Week reports.
He will manage account and business development operations with a focus on expanding offerings throughout the public and private sectors.
Prior to this appointment, he directed FedBid’s market operations, according to Federal Computer Week.
Before joining FedBid, the 20-year industry veteran held commercial and operations roles with Baxter Healthcare and was a principal founder of SciQuest.
He began his career in the Army as an infantry officer, FCW reports.
Companies use FedBid to bid on contracts for providing agencies technology and office supplies, with the lowest bid winning.
