Terremark Federal Group Wins $9M DARPA Cloud-Computing Contract

Terremark Federal Group Inc. has won a $9 million contract modification to perform cloud-computing services for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

The Department of Defense said the modification will allow Terremark to provide cloud-based computing, infrastructure, data and analytical support under two General Services Administration Special Item Numbers.

75 percent of the work under the firm-fixed-price contract modification will occur in Miami, Fl., with the rest being done in Culpeper, Va.

The Pentagon expects work to be completed by July 1, 2013.
