DISA Says RFP Coming for Mobile Device Mgmt Software, App Store - top government contractors - best government contracting eventThe Defense Information Systems Agency is seeking mobile device management software as well as an application store for the Pentagon’s mobility program, the agency announced Wednesday on FedBizOpps.

In a presolicitation notice, the agency said it is working to issue a full-and-open request for proposals and plans to award a three-year contract containing one base year and four six-month options.

The RFP would be posted on FedBizOpps on or around Oct. 2, the agency said.

DISA wants the management software to control and manage mobile devices through application whitelisting, blacklisting and role-based access control.

The mobile store will depend on the management software for a list of new, removed or changed mobile devices within the Pentagon’s networks.
