Jacobs Technology Inc. has been granted a $51.8 million contract from NASA's Stennis Space Center in Mississippi to provide facility operations services to the agency, NASA announced Friday.
The award will enable Jacobs Technology to exercise the third option of the NASA Facility Operating Services Contract, which has a three-year base and seven award term periods.
FOSC delivers a broad range of services supporting NASA missions and over 30 resident agencies that use the Stennis Space Center facilities and services.
The cost-plus-incentive-fee contract would cover administration; facility engineering; food; mail; fire protection; custodial; multimedia; public affairs and education services.
In addition, the FOSC award term period 3 calls for facility maintenance and operations; safety, quality and environmental assurance; medical and occupational health; and logistics and transportation.
