Job Board Calls Mitre ‘Best Work-Life Balance’ Employer, a job community website, recently named Mitre Corp. the “Best Employer for Work-Life Balance,” according to CityBiz List.

Bill Murphy reports the website based its 2012 rankings on a survey of companies with more than 500 employees and 385,000 employees total participated in the survey conducted last year.

Some Mitre locations offer on-site locker rooms, fitness centers, health fairs, outdoor recreation areas, massage therapy, ergonomic evaluations, physical therapy and chiropractic care, the report says.

Employees also have as much as 23 days of paid time-off every year, eight holidays and eight weeks of sabbatical after seven years of service.
