Accenture to Provide IT Support to Swedish National Police Board

Accenture and the Swedish National Police Board have signed a three-year framework agreement in a strategic IT partnership, the company announced today.

Under the agreement, Accenture will provide IT development technology and maintenance services to help the Swedish National Police Board enhance police operations and investigations across the force.

“Having Accenture as our strategic IT partner means we will have access to the skills and expertise necessary to meet our future IT delivery requirements to support overall policing activities in Sweden,” said Christian  Stuart, head of IT operations, development and maintenance at the Swedish National Police Board.

The competitively procured contract includes options that may extend work for a maximum of three years.

“We are very happy to have been selected as the strategic partner to the Swedish Police and look forward to supporting the development of the organization’s information technology and IT delivery capability over the coming years,” said Anders Jönebratt, who leads Accenture Health and Public Service business in Sweden.
