CGI Implements HR Management System for Largest US County; Dave Delgado Comments

Dave Delgado

CGI Group has implemented a human resource management system in Los Angeles County, Calif., that will serve more than 100,000 employees, provide data for management analysis and aim to bolster talent acquisition, onboarding and position control programs.

The company said its software is now live and fully integrated with the county’s payroll, financial management and budget preparation systems, replacing a system that had been in place for 22 years.

Since 2004, the contractor has been working with the U.S.’ largest county to modernize its enterprise resource planning.

“We benefit from a single point of accountability for software delivery and implementation services,” said Robert A. Davis, the county’s assistant auditor controller.

“We are proud of our long-standing ERP partnership with Los Angeles County,” added Dave Delgado, a senior vice president at the company.

“CGI looks forward to delivering on the next phases of the County’s ERP modernization to improve vendor interaction and enhance manager self-service.”
