NJVC and Virtustream will partner to provide government customers the Virtustream xChange cloud computing marketplace to shop for cloud service providers.
NJVC said the exchange is a marketplace for government, healthcare, education and financial services and the company will offer Virtustream via its Cloudcuity portal.
“Virtustream xChange will give NJVC Cloudcuity users the automated ability to compare the cost of service offerings across the Cloudcuity Management Portal,“ said Kevin Jackson, NJVC’s Cloudcuity vice president and general manager.
Jackson added users can adjust rates and apply different pricing methodologies including fixed, variable, tiered and subscription.
According to the company, each industry vertical has unique requirements and standards for the cloud including healthcare, e-commerce, government and defense.
Xchange will provide users supplier scoring, billing, price comparisons and workload migration, as well as offer a dashboard on performance and service level agreement requirements.
