Northrop Grumman Corp. has named retired U.S. Navy CaptainRobert W. “Brick“ Nelson as director and corporate lead executive for the company's San Diego business.
According to a company statement, he will report to Timothy Jones, vice president for aviation and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
Nelson will serve as the company's senior executive for the San Diego region and represent all activities for the company.
He is expected to maintain direct communication with Northrop Grumman's customers as well as serve as the main company contact with business leaders and industry partners.
Jones said Nelson's experience and leadership in the private sector and the military will be crucial in building the company's business portfolio and maximize available opportunities in San Diego.
