CGI to Provide Navy Biometrics System for Recruiting; Amy Bleken Comments - top government contractors - best government contracting eventCGI Federal has won a potential five-year, $65 million contract to help the U.S. Navy Recruiting Command update the branch’s recruiting and accessions system.

The company will provide the command witgh a biometrics system to process security credentials and manage identities and access, the company announced Tuesday.

Recruiters will have controlled access to that system, said Amy Bleken, senior vice president for defense agency programs.

Bleken added a goal of the project is to automate the Navy”s recruiting function, providing a single toolset for recruiters nationwide.

Work under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will also include system integration, development and maintenance for technology systems.
