Oracle Unveils New Cloud Portfolio, Exadata Machine; AbdulRahman Al Thehaiban Comments - top government contractors - best government contracting eventOracle presented both a new cloud services portfolio and an exadata machine at the company’s Openworld conference in San Francisco, AMEinfo.com reports.

The company more recently held an Oracle Day in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to present the new technologies to businesses from the public and private sectors, the report said.

“Cloud, mobile, social, and big data are changing the way business is done and the objective of Oracle Days is to give C-level decision-makers the information and insight to help them embrace these technologies,” said AbdulRahman Al Thehaiban, Oracle’s vice president for the Middle East and Africa regions.

Oracle’s new cloud services portfolio comes a time with more than 10,000 customers and more than 25 million users of the service per day, according to the report.

The Exadata X3 Database In-Memory Machine uses Flash-based memory instead of a disk.
