Dell Names Suresh Vaswani Services Lead, Succeeding Steve Schuckenbrock


Suresh Vaswani

Dell has appointed Suresh Vaswani president of the services segment, where he will oversee development and delivery of information technology services to commercial clients and state and local governments.

The company said he will report to Chairman and CEO Michael Dell and succeed Steve Schuckenbrock, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities after five years at Dell.

He has also served as president of the large enterprise segment and as chief information officer.

Vaswani said the company’s team is working on a strategy to help clients in support services, security, cloud and infrastructure services, and applications and business process outsourcing.

Before joining Dell, Vaswani held a 25-year career at Wipro, where he served as CEO of the IT business and served on the board of Wipro Ltd.
