HP Hits 100 Customers of Newly Launched Cloud Offerings

HP Hits 100 Customers of Newly Launched Cloud Offerings - top government contractors - best government contracting eventHP is growing its public cloud storage system, just months after it launched its converged cloud solutions, technology website, Talkin' Cloud reported.

“HP Cloud is a relative newcomer to the public cloud market but it’s impressive to see roughly 100 technology companies moving into the HP Cloud ecosystem,“ Joe Panettieri writes.

The Palo Alto, Ca., company's cloud customers come from a variety of industries, including database management, security, and development and testing.

HP’s website said “we offer you two options to partner with us. A Silver track is geared toward partners that want self-service. A Gold track is designed for partners that want more technical, sales, and marketing engagement from the HP Cloud.”

Company executives, including Zorawar “Biri” Singh,  senior vice president and William Franklin, vice president for engineering for HP OpenStack, will offer updates to the HP converged cloud strategy at this week's HP Discover 2012 conference in Germany.

Singh will talk about moving production workloads to the public cloud while Franklin will tackle the importance of open source cloud solutions.
