NetApp will provide a public high school district with a data storage and technology support package for the school district, the Wichita Business Journal reports.
The three-year technology support donation to the Andover, Kan. public schools is valued at around $172,000, Josh Heck writes.
According to the report, NetApp made the decision based on the amount of technology in the school district and a desire to provide students with skills in technology.
NetApp employee Matt Forney also serves as vice president of the school board, Heck writes.
The company is also planning to add 400 jobs in the Wichita area.
