TASC CEO David Langstaff told Bloomberg News Monday the company plans to expand its presence in the U.K., calling it a natural market to expand due to ties between U.S. and U.K. defense acquisition.
Langstaff told Bloomberg he believes certain segments in the U.K. will grow despite reductions in defense spending there.
According to Robert Wall’s report, the company wants to win contracts to help the U.K. handle large amounts of intelligence data and protect sensitive information stored on the Internet.
Wall reports Langstaff did not give any specific areas the company would target in the U.K.
The U.K. is selling an organization that maintains military equipment and could potentially hire a contractor to manage equipment programs, according to the report.
