11-Year SAP Vet Stavit Navon Named a Managing Director

sapSAP AG has appointed Stavit Navon, chief operating officer for SAP Israel, to succeed Miki Migdal as managing director for SAP Israel, Globes reports.

Navon will replace Miki Migdal will move into a co-managing director position of SAP’s Accenture unit in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.

Migdal became SAP Israel’s managing director a year after the company acquired Ness Technologies Ltd.’s Israeli distribution business in 2008.

Navon joined SAP in 2002 and has held several executive positions at the company, according to Globes.

The company has 800 employees in Israel with 100 working as part of Israel.

Globes reports the rest of the workforce is based at the company’s research-and-development center, run by Michael Steiner.
