CACI International will compete to provide the U.S. Navy applications and hardware for battlespace awareness operations under a potential five-year, $899 million contract, the company said Monday.

The Navy is also seeking to acquire tools for intelligence and information operations under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (click here for GovCon Wire‘s coverage of the contract award).

CACI will also compete to perform development, integration and testing services under the contract, awarded by Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic.

Dan Allen, president and CEO, said this award represents new work in battlespace awareness as the company is pursuing growth in the cyber and C4ISR markets (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance).

“The U.S. Navy continues to be a valued customer and we are pleased that SSC Atlantic has chosen CACI to provide these important services,” said John Mengucci, chief operating officer and president of U.S. operations.
