Reston, Va.-based cybersecurity firm Cybersalus has appointed Thomas Verbeck, a retired one-star Air Force general and former chief technology officer at NCR Government Services, to serve as president.
The Washington Post reports John Kiehm, a former Defense Intelligence Agency chief of staff and CEO at intelligence company SKC, is partnering with logistics firm McLane Advanced Technologies to run the new service-disabled, veteran-owned firm Cybersalus.
Verbeck told the Post Cybersalus aims to help customers handle day-to-day operations, loading and managing networks and choosing the types of security and insurance to use.
At NCR, Verbeck was responsible for managing customer relations and planning strategy in the federal, state and local governments.
Before joining NCR, he served as CTO for health information technology at Northrop Grumman.
