IT Firm Telos Names Stephen Corcoran a Cyber Strategy Lead; Brendan Malloy Comments

TelosLogoFederal information technology and security services provider Telos Corp. has appointed retired Marine Corps Col. Stephen Corcoran a director of cyber strategy, the company said Tuesday.

Corcoran, who most recently served as commander of U.S. Transportation Command’s joint communications support element, will work in the Ashburn, Va.-based company’s cyber operations and defense group.

He brings experience in working with joint and allied forces to integrate C4 systems (command, control, communications and computers), said Brendan Malloy, senior vice president and general manager of cyber operations and defense.

In his most recent position, Telos said Corcoran was responsible for an organization providing communications for joint commands and incorporating technology for services, coalitions and host nations to use for interoprability.

Corcoran has also served as chief of operations for Central Command’s C4 systems directorate, where he supported military operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.

He was commissioned as a second lieutenant upon graduation from William Paterson University.
