Kratos Defense and Security Solutions has won $6.1 million in contracts to make specialized products for programs involving national security.
The company said its unmanned systems solutions division will make the products at a Kratos manufacturing facility.
“As we begin 2013, approximately 70 percent of Kratos business is related to the manufacture, production or support of specialized or technology based products supporting United States or allied country’s national security priority areas,” said Eric DeMarco, president and CEO.
“A significant portion of Kratos business is focused on strategic platforms and programs, including unmanned aerial systems, ballistic missile defense, electronic warfare, satellite communications, and aerial targets or drones,” he added.
The company did not release additional information due to customer and security concerns.
