Motorola Solutions Inc. has won a $15,613,852 firm-fixed-price contract to sustain enterprise land and mobile radio systems at 53 military installations worldwide.
The contract calls for preventive and corrective maintenance of fixed, mobile and portable units, dispatching equipment and all associated equipment deployed as part of Naval Facilities Engineering Command's worldwide enterprise land and mobile radio systems.
Motorola is also expected to troubleshoot, remove and replace equipment for these units.
This contract includes two option years that, if exercised, would bring the contract’s value to $47,127,804.
Work will be performed at the 53 military installations and is expected to be completed by December 2015.
Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, Calif., is the contracting activity.
