Oracle is releasing a new platform aimed at helping organizations manage their own private cloud environments on their premises, the company said Tuesday.

Oracle’s Infrastructure as a Service on Premise platform is designed to give users visibility of their information technology systems and align processing capacity with changing workloads.

Juan Loaiza, senior vice president of software development, said customers pay the company a monthly fee to use the platform.

The company said customers can use the platform to access and integrate Oracle’s Exadata Database Machine, Exalogic Elastic Cloud, SPARC SuperCluster, Exalytics In-Memory Machine and Sun ZFS Storage Appliance.

The new platform also contains an option for Oracle personnel to conduct analysis and advisory reports on system performance, security compliance and system availability.
