Andy Strampach, a Parsons business development director for intelligence and cybersecurity, has been elected to the National Defense Industrial Association‘s board of directors for the Washington, D.C. chapter, according to a Parsons statement.
Parsons’ Mary Ann Hopkins, who serves as president of government services, said she is pleased that Strampach’s abilities have been recognized by the association and the company will support him as he begins his leadership position.
Strampach previously served as vice president of BD for the national security business unit at SPARTA Inc. before the company was acquired in 2011 to improve engineering, information assurance, cybersecurity, and mission support services at Parsons.
Strampach, a 22-year Air Force veteran, will now assist the NDIA in accomplishing its goals of strengthening U.S. security.
The NDIA has 52 chapters and has served the defense industry since 1919.
