The company said Mitchell retired from Deloitte in 2003, where he most recently served as national managing partner of the mortgage banking and finance practice.
He also served as associate national managing partner for the banking and thrift practice, a partner in the mergers and acquisitions and capital markets practice and a regional managing partner for other practices

Mitchell said the company is forming a strategic plan aimed at addressing a global business environment for services.
Parsons said Mitchell brings 35 years of experience in advising investors, federal agencies, senior management and corporate boards of directors on financial reporting, risk management, valuation, governance, regulation, capital markets and mergers and acquisitions in the financial services and real estate finance industries.
