ARINC has won a contract to continue supplying Germany-based Munich Airport with a passenger-processing platform aimed at helping the international hub manage its customer services.
Under the extended agreement forged 10 years ago, ARINC will use its recently updated vMUSE 3.2 platform service for common use passenger processing systems at a terminal, the Annapolis, Md.-based company said Tuesday.
The project includes on-site service and support for the airport“™s newly installed quick-boarding gates, and a migration to a centralized firewall solution scheduled for the first quarter of 2013.
“We are impressed with the ARINC vMUSE platform and the support we have received over our long partnership,“ Marco Butz, Munich Airport manager for technology and infrastructure.
Earlier this year, the airport installed new boarding gates and ARINC will help the airport run those gates under the current contract.
