Contract Profile: Powertek Wins DoD IT Operations Task Order

powertek-logo-168x161Powertek Corp. has won a task order to provide information technology operations front office support for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Washington headquarters services, WHS supported organizations and the Pentagon Force Protection Agency.

“Powertek is proud of the trust and confidence that have been placed in us and we look forward to continuing to help DoD achieve mission success by implementing advanced technologies, process improvements and cost savings,” said Powertek President Nancy Scott.

The Rockville, Md.-based company is tasked to provide comprehensive customer support and implement ITIL-based service improvements.

Customer support includes service desk and deskside support, VIP support, mobile support and operational service requests, integrated logistics and asset management and enterprise managed print services.

The task order was awarded under the Department of Defense’s net-centric integrated enterprise technologies solutions contract vehicle.

Work will be performed primarily at the Pentagon, Mark Center and Crystal City.
